I thought i'd upload a new installment of this. A nice overview. You can see a new zoo coming into existence on the rightside.

Btw; it's in jpeg because jpegs (16 million) can hold more colors than gifs (256).

PNG might be a better format for a sprite city, but this still looks great. So much nice detail... It'll look even better when it's finished! You even got shadows and everything... very nice work!

Yep, thought so.

Anyway, png is indeed better, as it has the lossless compression, but still works with 16 mln colours. Also, the filesize is generally less than gif.

Looking really nice. There's a good variety of buildings for that town, which is a nice change. Too often pixel cities become boring when the people making them lose interest. No signs of that here :)

can't wait to see this finished, it'll be a fav for sure =D
